HOW DO I BOOK A CONSULTATION WITH THE ACBTC?
We offer three different types of consultations:

Online Consultations
For an online consultation, we will email you the appropriate form for your pet for you to complete. You can return it to us either by email, fax or snail mail. We will create a personal cognitive behaviour plan catered specifically for you and your pet offering a step-by-step guide.

Telephone Consultations
A telephone consultation can be arranged once we have received a full history of your pet and details relating to the problem (a form can be downloaded - see our consultations page). You will speak to one of our qualified staff members who will offer personal advice. In addition a written step-by-step cognitive behaviour management plan will also be provided to help you and your pet overcome your behavioural problem.

Personal Consultations
We offer personal consultations within a limited area and they usually take place in your home. We can set up an appointment and one of our trained behavioural consultants will discuss your pets' problems and devise a cognitive behaviour modification programme and sessions usually last 1 to 2 hours.

HOW LONG DO THE COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY PROGRAMMES LAST?
Our cognitive behaviour programmes may consist of several stages and can last from a few days to several months. They may require only a little, or sometimes, a significant amount of work for you and your family. This really depends on your pet and the nature of the problem and can only be determined once you have complete a consultation. There is seldom a miracle cure and results will often take time, dedication and practice. Your commitment to carry out the behaviour treatment is essential.

WHICH ANIMALS DO YOU TREAT?
We offer consultations for most animals including: Dogs, Cats, Ferrets, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats and Mice, Birds, Waterfowl, Poultry. If you have a pet that we have not listed, please feel free to contact us and we can arrange and the appropriate consultation forms

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR A CONSULTATION?
Prices vary depending on the animal and type of consultation you chose. Please refer to our prices page.

HOW CAN I PAY?
We offer secure payment through PayPal and also accept Cheques, Postal Orders and Direct Bank Transfer.

CAN YOU GUARANTEE TO CURE THE PROBLEM?
Whilst we pride ourselves in our high success rate, unfortunately 100% success cannot be guaranteed. Please beware of any pet behaviourists who claim otherwise.
